I chose a powerful scene from one of my favorite shows, Avatar The Last Airbender. The scene involves a fight between two people who can control water in all its forms. The old woman, Hama, is a master at "blood bending" as there is water in blood, she can control limbs. The scene starts off some extreme closeups to demonstrate the evil in the old woman's face against the moon in the background that they draw power from. The younger girl, Katara is forced to kneel via the power of Hama's blood bending and there is eye matching because we see the Hama's face from Katara's point of view while she's being forced to kneel. The scene then shows an extreme closeup of Katara crying and gaining energy from her emotions which contrasts Hama's closeup that showed her evil face. Katara's closeup was that of a heroine and Hama's was that of a villain. Katara deflects an attack from Hama and the camera replays the deflection to add a wow factor. After t...
